Dr. Qiang Yang

 Qiang Yang currently is a professor with the School of Artificial Intelligence, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology.  Before that, he received the Ph. D degree in computer science and technology with the School of Data and Computer Science, Sun Yat-Sen University, under the supervision of Prof. Jun Zhang, Prof. Wei-Neng Chen, and Prof. Guo-Li Wang in 2019, and the MS. c degree in computer science with the School of Information Science and Technology, Sun Yat-Sen University, under the supervision of Prof. Wei-Shi Zheng and Prof. Ying-Biao Ling in 2014.

   His research interest includes Evolutionary Algorithms on Large Scale Optimization, Multimodal Optimization, Dynamic Optimization, and Multi/Many-objective Optimization and their applications to real-world problems, such as Taxi Scheduling, Travel Salesman Problems, and Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problems. In these directions, he has published more than 60 papers, including more than 10 IEEE Transactions papers and 1 ESI highly cited paper. 

  Currently, he serves as the PI of 1 national project, and 2 provincial projects.
